Terms of use

1. Who provides the service

2. The service

Eventico is an event platform. Organizers create events with a programme, and attendees join with a QR code or a link. An event can include questions to speakers, polls, networking, materials, a community, exhibitors, sponsors and reports. Which features are included depends on the event.

3. Your account

• Enter accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• You can join an event as a guest, without registering.
• We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

4. Organizers

• The organizer is responsible for the content of their event: programme, materials, announcements and everything they publish.
• The organizer only invites people into the team chat whom they have a reason to contact, and is responsible for the content in the room.
• The organizer is also responsible for the attendee data they collect, view in reports or download. They must have a legal basis to use it and tell attendees what they use it for.
• For the data of attendees and community members in its events and Spaces, the organization is the controller and we are its processor. We process this data only to make the platform work. Data processing terms are available on request.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Eventico to:

• publish illegal, abusive or misleading content;
• send spam or unsolicited messages;
• collect data about other people without a legal basis;
• try to break its security, overload the site or crawl it automatically;
• impersonate another person or organization.

6. Prices and payment

• The core of Eventico is free. Prices of the paid plans and modules are on the pricing page.
• You pay by card through Stripe. We issue an invoice for every payment.

7. Spaces and plans

• A Space is where an organization brings together its events and its community. The Community, Brand and Organization plans are paid as a monthly or yearly subscription.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and your card is charged until you cancel it.
• You can cancel a subscription at any time on the organization's billing page. Cancellation takes effect immediately: payments stop and the plan's features are switched off. We do not refund a period that has already started, unless the law requires otherwise.

8. Founders price

• Organizations in the founding round (by invitation) pay a lower price for Community and Community + Brand. The price is on the pricing page.
• It applies for 24 months after the end of the free offer from the invite. We email you a month before it ends. After that the subscription continues at the regular price from the next renewal.

9. Custom domains

• You may connect a domain only if you own it or have the right to use it. You prove ownership with a TXT record in DNS. A claim not proven within 7 days is removed.
• You are responsible for keeping the domain's DNS records correct. We may disconnect a domain that fails verification or no longer points to Eventico.
• If you remove the domain or payment for the plan stops, the domain redirects to the eventico.live address for another 30 days. After that we disconnect it.

10. Emails to attendees

• Send community news only to people who signed up for it themselves. Do not use bought, scraped or third-party address lists.
• The number of emails per month depends on the plan and is shown on the pricing page.
• Addresses that bounce or that marked an email as spam are stopped automatically. If a Space gets too many complaints or we see abuse, we may pause its news emails until we have looked into it. Event emails keep going.

11. Branding and legal links

You are responsible for the name, logo, colours and links to legal documents you add to your Space, and for having the right to use them. If you add your own privacy policy or terms, they must be accurate and up to date.

12. Demo

The organizer demo is for trying things out. Everything created in it is deleted automatically 7 days after it was created and cannot be restored. In the demo you cannot upload files, pay or invite a team.

13. Free events invite

• With an invite code an organization gets 3 free events with all modules for 12 months from redeeming the code. No card is required.
• The code can be redeemed within 90 days of its creation.
• If you delete a free event before it starts, its slot is freed for another event.

14. Availability

We provide Eventico "as is". We aim to keep it running without interruption but cannot guarantee it. We sometimes take the site down for maintenance. We may change, add or remove features.

15. Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damage. These limits do not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

16. Ending the service

You can stop using Eventico at any time. You can delete your account yourself under "My data" in the account menu. If you own an organization, first delete it or transfer it to a team member from the organization settings. When you delete an organization, we immediately delete all of its events and files. Issued invoices are kept for as long as the law requires.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Disputes are decided by the competent Bulgarian court. If you are a consumer, you keep your rights under consumer protection law.

18. Changes

We may change these terms. We will tell you about changes by email or on the site. If you keep using Eventico after a change, you accept the new terms.
